I am also ashamed at the Mainstream Media. THEY FAILED, failed us all frankly. DU is the only thing besides NPR and BBC for news anymore
If anyone wonders whether NPR should never receive a penny of taxpayer money, this SOB answers the question.

Like the so-called seceded states 150 years ago, none of these dicks plan to pony up their share of the debt.

Unilateral state secession was dealt with in two big cases: Texas v. White and The Prize Cases if you want to look further.

I felt extremely disappointed after hearing that Donald Trump won the presidency. It was a long day at work on 11-9-16 and even a longer evening. I had a hard time trying to sleep that night because I was fuming so badly inside. I wondered if anyone else was feeling the same, so I started surfing the internet just for something to do. I came across a video about post election depression, and I wish I would have saved the link in order to share it, but I couldn't find it again. It basically stated to pour your heart out by writing on a piece of paper, everything that is bothering you, and do it just before bed. Kind of like a cleaning/coping tool. I stayed up til midnight that night composing and writing my frustrations down about Trump. I then went to bed and slept like a baby. This is the letter I wrote. Just going through the actions of getting my feelings down on paper made a world of difference. If nothing else, I will post it just for the entertainment value. Here it goes . . .

Dear Dumb arse Trump: I heard saw online video about therapy for post election depression. I.E. For those of us disheartened by your grab for the presidency. Just before bedtime, write down everything that concerns you as a internal way to deal with the angst your insane tactics have inflicted on the sane people of the US. These are my thoughts -- In a nutshell - - You don't deserve the title of President. That has to be earned, not forced or assumed. You are not even fit to be called a gentleman. You are a vile, egotistical, bigoted, filthy, unqualified excuse for a politician. You have single handedly divided our country and drove us back 150 years into bigotry, fear and hatred for one another. I don't even know how you are going to get your head through the white house door with your big fat ego. The entrance will have to be widened - just for you. That is if you even choose to live in the Whitehouse. It is probably not good enough for you. Let's hope you don't ruin it by coating it with gold, like your garishly adorned Trump Tower suite.

It's a shame that that you got a majority of the electoral votes, when the majority of Americans want Clinton, NOT YOU! You tweeted during your campaign (one of your many two-faced lies) that the electoral college is a disaster. If it is such a disaster, then why are you accepting its results? You can bet, that if Hillary won by such a short margin, you would be throwing a childish hissy-arse fit, demanding recounts and the abolition of the electoral college. It's funny that now that it benefits you, it's quite all right. Mrs. Clinton was gracious enough in her concession speech to urge our nation to unite after a contentious campaign, and give you a chance to lead. Now THAT is a sign of a good presidential candidate. Your admission, even before the counting began, was to declare: "I'll keep you in suspense," if election results don't go in my favor. At every turn, you have assumed the demeanor of a leg kicking, tantrum consumed toddler going through the terrible two's. I've seen some kindergartners that have more poise than you.

I can't believe that I am going to have to wake up every morning for the next four years (hopefully ONLY four years), realizing that your butt is still in the Whitehouse. I've read you are going to appoint a special prosecutor to look into Hillary Clinton's email issue after you are in office. Really?! The FBI already investigated that and dropped it twice. Are you going to appoint a special team to respond to the racketeering charges and child rape allegations that are pending against you? Or do the calls to justice only apply to others, and not your own transgressions? And what about the women you corralled together, that alleged abuse by former President Clinton? You declared: "They deserve to be heard!" Oh!, but when half a dozen women accuse YOU of sexual abuse, you conveniently call them all liars and promised to sue them after you are elected. You are such a two-faced bigot, that I cannot stand to look at you or hear your name. YOU deserve to be put in jail for all the abuses you have gotten away with during your lifetime, you arrogant bastard. I hope you get impeached, preferably before you make America (I mean - - yourself, great again). There, I feel much better. I think I will be able to go to sleep now. Signed - Me

Here's another good one.

Total nightmare. And that was when DU went down. The night just got worse from there. Walked around in a daze, pressure washing things outside and steam cleaning inside. Then realized this country is dead. I live in Seminole county FL. Its red and cheeto is the last straw. I am done. Need to get to a blue area. Maybe leave the country. Husband works in Spain. My daughter wants out too. After she sees an immigration lawyer she will marry her non US citizen boy friend and move to California. Think I might sell my house and join them. Good thing I was pressure washing, I got to get the house ready to put on the market.

Maybe California and the other blue areas will leave the US. So I need to get out before I can't.

I feel like a survivor from one of those end of the world movies and my goal is to make California from Florida. All the red between here and there is scary.

In the meantime, it's time to revolt. Maybe we should all not pay taxes like cheeto. The one thing I know is that this country will not last two years.

I miss DU! Can't wait until it's back.

BTW - First thought as the results came in, cheeto rigged it! That's why he keep saying it was rigged, he projects. Remember all the crazy crap he said about Clinton, he was really talking about himself. He rigged it. Pretty sure he had help with the mob and the Russians.
