Cavuto displaying graphics right now... almost every major player in each sector is up 20-40% since election.

As an investor, I am incredibly happy, but as someone who is very wary of runaway market bubbles, I fear an inevitable retraction in which values drop just a little bit and a lot of capital ventures go completely belly-up because they were riding high on the hog.

Again, honest question… is QE still going on?

"If" they cut taxes then all "should" be fine IMO. The market likes the decrease in regulations, but a tax cut will really boost profits.

The Dow has increased 11,928 points since Election Day 2008. Of that 11,928-point increase, 3,221 points (27%) have happened since Election Day 2016.

When he hits 50K he will be at Obama's level.

And most companies within the Dow are up 20-40% since election 2016.

As would most wise investors. I'm just saying that soaring profitability and a sense of 'this will never end!' creates risky capital allocation that can crash and burn at the slightest downturn, especially if you're looking at thin margins based on the current trajectory.

Clearly, President Trump is pointing the country in the right direction. Now, if Congress would do it's job....

it is absolutely inevitable that there will be a pull-back at some point
and you are right, this type of market fosters inflated opportunities that are built on hype
but overall, it does look like Trump's agenda is having a positive effect on investor confidence

Is anybody in what passes for media these days attributing this to the President? I'd be shocked.

I do not know one person who has even remotely indicated this sentiment. Where have you heard this?
