Former US Ambassador to Russia puts Trump/Russia in perspective:

Michael McFaul ?Verified

I was US ambassador in Russia during last Russian presidential election in 2012. I never met with any candidates or attended their events.

Let that sink in.

Please name the felonies you committed yesterday. Or anyone you know committed.

Average American commits 3 felonies per day

We don't even have any idea because there are so many laws, as was said earlier, particularly in the tax code.

As for me, I used a post-hole digger without an ACOE permit and ripped a CD that belongs to a friend.

Michael McFaul works for NBC and is part of the Hoover Institution. He writes op-eds for the Washington Post, NY Times, Time, Politico, and the Washington Standard. He was an ambassador to Russia under Hussain.

Let that sink in.

He said he based his decision on the recommendations of the attorney generals office, the lack of confidence in the FBI and the way Comey handled the Clinton email scandal. So whats the problem?

The investigation is still under way.

How many investigastions have you ran in your life? I've ran thousands, literally and I can tell you that they don't drag on for a year if there is NO evidence that a crime was committed. They just don't. There's no reason to.

Now, if you couple that knowledge with the fact that we KNOW that no one has seen any evidence of any crimes involving Trump and or his campaign and Russi we can conclude that this investigation is ONLY still going because of politics and there is no evidence of wrong doing, and there will be no evidence of wrong doing.

He's come out with at least three explanations for why Comey was fired.

Which is three more than he needs. The president can fire any appointee of the executive branch at any time for any reason or for no reason.

It may be bad PR. It may be a poor political move. But it's not illegal.

The average Federal Special Prosecution is well over two years.

1,154 days if you include the Cisneros prosecution.

The Plame Leak investigation went on over a year even though there wasn't a whole lot there.

The Senate voted 97-2 to increase sanctions on Russia with language attempting to limit the President's ability to revoke it.

They wouldn't have done this if they didn't believe that Trump was on his knees while Putin was getting some wind in his trousers.

True, but it isn't true that it is over a year of investigation before there is even a hint that a crime has been committed.

In the Plame Leak, for example, We knew there was a crime right from day one, and we knew what that crime was. Leaking Plame's name and job.

Here we have no such evidence. NO ONE can simply say "Here is the crime that was committed, let's find out who did it"

Colluding isn't a crime
Firing the FBI Director isn't a crime.

What crime has been committed here?

Trump has been targeted , PERIOD.

Um, everyone who is sane thinks he is innocent. There is no evidence, yet Hillary had all kinds and the likes of you said she was innocent. You take crazy pills man.
