Assuming this was requested, how do you know that DJT said this because gobal warming is WAY down his list of priorities as compared to others. And DJT does not want to waste time.

It would be both counterproductive and extraordinarily presumptuous for Charles to engage that way. The fact anyone is concerned such an incident could actually occur speaks volumes as to why most Brits would be happy to skip Charles in succession, and instead go straight to William.
