person that is not a Democrat is a racist? This guy has made a career out of the civil rights movement. He can spew anything he wants but God forbid anybody question him. His rhetoric is over the top and he seems to be the racist truthfully. I love MLK's message. However, Lewis makes a living sending out a different message and claiming his is the same as Kings.

I respect him for what he did in the 1960s as far as Civil Rights go... but he's quite frankly a joke in present day.

I'm 'white' and got the snot beat out of me by a small gang of 'blacks' in the early 80s...
I wasn't doing anything but walking down the street and minding my business, which I suppose could be argued included asserting my God-given and Constitutional rights.
Are there any moral authority and elevation bonus points for that? Not expecting as many points as Civil Rights protesters from the 60s may deserve. Just askin'...

Lewis, like a large portion of Blacks, think White people owe him some sort of debt (we don't).
Whites also make convenient scapegoats to blame for Blacks' failures and broken culture.
They are assisted in this blame game by pathetic liberal pukes suffering from some mythical White Guilt Syndrome.

Good point. Its really sad that so many fall in like sheep. I am not black but have a hard time seeing myself falling behind these race baiters who want to be the victim their whole lives. They hate the likes of Ben Carson or Clarence Thomas because they have achieved without regard for their race. One can truly be an individual and treated with respect if they don't base their behavior on the color of their skin.
