Does anyone else kinda hope the socialists gets selected in Atlanta?

It would give a preview of what can happen if a Bernie type person ever is a legit candidate. It would, hopefully, give the decently rational democrats enough to realize it's a flawed system.

I would never want to experience a snake bite to see what its like.
I'd never want to be temporarily paralyzed to experience the effect.

Liberalism is a mental disorder. Successful implementation followed by the subsequent and inevitable failure of a Socialist administration would never teach a lib/prog the detriments of such a government.

Now the surrounding areas where people commute to atl for work would not be fair. Business would suffer and if they didn't live in the city, but Worked in the city, that would be very unfair. So I guess I will retract the more I think about those people. It would be nice to shut up socialism for the last time.

Dems & socialists are literally the same so all anyone has to do is check out Chicago, Baltimore, Memphis or Detroit (among others) to see how it will turn out.

Demographics of atlanta have changed quite a bit the last 25 years.Blacks we at about a 67% majority in 1990
Now it's down to about 52%.Lots of educated folks with money are moving back to the city or ITP amd all the public housing hasituation been torn down.

Socialism can work, it does in Scandinavia.
If would be great to see a mix of Democratic Socialism with good old fashioned American can-do ingenuity mixed together.
