What in the world does that have to do with Trump? A discovery like this takes years of research and drilling and analysis of cores, etc. It happens regardless of who is in the White House.

I swear, some of you are in total fantasy land.

Why didn't all those companies (China & Japan, too) announce increased investment in America BEFORE the election results were known? Any or all of these companies or countries couldve made these announcements last October (or even earlier). But, they didn't.

The point of this thread was lost. I feel your passion but next time just make the point instead of including fluff that people will grab onto

I'm not saying God can't use Trump for good things, but he could just as easily use him to bring punishment on America for turning our backs on him.
Besides, let's not pretend that Donald Trump behaves or lives in a manner that is consistent with scripture.

I understand what you're saying. But in my view, I believe it's all intertwined.

I truly believe that we are headed for an era of prosperity with Trump.

Texas should stop feeding its oil and gas to the rest of the leech states.

So should other states that ship items to Texas stop sending them things as well?

Plenty of companies have been investing in the US before Trump won. The difference now is that the President is tweeting about it and CEOs took the free publicity. Remember when GE announced an investment of 1 billion after the election? Would it surprise you that GE announced an investment of almost 3 billion the year before and no one noticed

That's not to say that Presidents can't impact economic growth. Merely that the US economy has been growing for seven years with millions of new jobs. That doesn't happen without companies investing in the US

His name is the Doctor of Common sense

Yet he doesn't have enough common sense to realize that wearing sunglasses indoors makes you look like a douche

I'm a believer as well, but you seem to have a direct line. Would you mind asking about whether pass through income tax rates are going to be reduced? I'm single so I get screwed on taxes.

Donald Trump is far from perfect as a human being. No doubt about it. But, God has chosen all sorts of people to accomplish his various purposes.

Read Isaiah 45, for example. God chose Cyrus for a great & mighty purpose. There's a difference between being chosen, on the one hand, or called.

My excitement over Trump has very little to do with the man himself, although Trump does have a particular skillset & persona that I think will serve him well. My excitement is primarily due to my belief that God has clearly chosen Trump for such a time as this. In other words, God working thru Trump to achieve his purpose.

If you were a businessman or a foreign entity considering an investment in America, with whom would you feel more comfortable? Here are your choices:

(1) An astute, mega-successful businessman who just got elected, partly by promising to reduce both taxes and regulations on corporations, or

(2) Mr. "You didn't build that" community agitator who is (was) clueless about business & never met a regulation he didn't like.

Who would you choose to do business with?
