I don't

I think if you have a dual citizenship you should not be allowed to be involved in any government capacity unless you give up that citizenship to the foreign nation

For example we have too many dual US-Israeli citizens involved in government.

Do you believe anyone with dual citizenship should be eligible for a security clearance, even as a contractor? That would certainly be involved in government.

And is this only at the Federal level, or state as well?

Because that is the foreign government who has its citizens heavily involved in our foreign policy?

We shouldn't recognize dual citizenship, it is irrational.

Not sure if he has dual citizenship now ... but, all I know is that I am absolutely okay with the gentleman on the right assisting TRUMP with MAGA.

How would you feel if we required all US citizens applying for government service to commit to the following before a Federal judge:
quote:

I hereby declare, on oath, that I absolutely and entirely renounce and abjure all allegiance and fidelity to any foreign prince, potentate, state, or sovereignty, of whom or which I have heretofore been a subject or citizen
Seems like that statement would make the very concept of 'dual citizenship' legally impossible. Agree?
