They were treating him better than any of the other Republican candidates. They were actively trying to help him win the primary because they thought he'd be the easiest candidate to beat for Clinton. Then during the general election the media did a 180 and blasted Trump at every turn.

That's proof of the media being manipulative rather than reporting on the news. They are actively trying to shape the world how they want it to be rather than reporting on what is. The whole reason they do this is to make people believe whatever it isn't they WANT them to believe. It's like brainwashing.

That's unethical, dangerous, and people are right to be fed up with the media.

Its because they actually believed that TRUMP would be the easiest candidate for Crooked Hillary to defeat.

I don't remember that. I remember the GOP primary = 'The Clown Car.'

The biggest 180 shift I saw the media do was Harkin vs. Clinton in the first primary of Bill. The media wanted Harkin cause he was a socialist and Bill was a centrist. But when Clinton got the nomination all the stories about Paula Jones went away.

Fox News wasn't... but all of the other networks were treating him well. They weren't blasting him for things they would blast any other candidate for saying.

The Republicans were being harder on him than Democrats.

Then you weren't paying attention. You don't recall the arse chewing Joe and Mika got from the left just because they were in Trump's hotel room visiting with him?

They were doing the bidding of the DNC as we now know from the leaked emails.

Russians or not, those emails were the real red pill.

It's not revisionist history. You know how I know? Because I said how they weren't going hard after him in the primary while the primary was still going on.

This isn't something I looked back on and concluded. I noticed this during the primary.

You simply don't remember.

If you mean they treated him a little less shitty than now and that equates to great or well then I will agree but the media, IMO, hasn't treated him well or great.

In the primary they did not bash him like they did once he became the nominee.

The media, besides Fox, blasted Ted Cruz way more than Trump when it was a two man race.

I agree that the media has progressively treated him shittier and shittier; I'm just saying they've never treated him well or great.

This did not happen.

You were watching a different primary than I.

Trump did get more coverage than others but it was predominantly negative.

Remember Trump being pinned down on wether he would run as an independent if he lost the primary and all the sexual attack on him by Meghan Kelly.

Yep, he had a cakewalk in the primary.

Yes I do

I'm sure the Dems worked with them and said push DJT because Hillary can beat DJT.

It's not.

Many conservatives including myself were pointing this out to Trump supporters in the primaries and it just fell on their deaf ears to our frustration considering they damn well knew the media has always been the same lying dishonest pieces of shite they are.

Once Trump became the presumptive nominee, it was game on after that and they went full bore and I felt it was over after that.

Thankfully, the media overplayed their hand and Trump proved me wrong.

I specifically excluded Fox News.

And at the beginning all of the candidates were treated shitty. As the field dwindled, the left wing media were harder on Rubio and Cruz than they were on Trump.
