Okay, you are protesting because the country sucks. In their eyes there isn't equal rights and injustice continues. Well, are you going to hit a knee or actually propose something? What exactly do want legislation, apology or what?

I can't take you serious if you don't take your own protest serious.Give us a way forward are Stfu.

You suck generally, but you make a good point here. They’re waiting for the next step from their liberal overlords.

It should be a constitutional right to have all long criminal records before going in front of a judge, erased. According to some.

They don't get that a life time of refusing to confirm to the laws of mankind sets a strong and very disturbing pattern.

Im generally very reasonable. If you protest then it should have sort of tangible result in mind. This is a bunch of babies that have failed to articulate a freaking point.

That's the BLM platform. I noticed the broken window policy off the bat. Have you heard one just one player refer to this agenda? Nobody has so if you have to go to google to show me something the protestors have no idea about then just wow. You made my point.

Its an organizing, solutions based platform that speaks to what many people protesting talk about.

I will ask again, did you spend 1 minute or maybe less before you jumped to the conclusions you did and are now deeply committed to defending that position?

Our focus has been to identify and place our efforts on the key areas of reform where our influence and support can make a meaningful difference in the community. Those include prioritizing Criminal Justice Reform and Police/Community Relations Engagement. Within those two areas that includes: police transparency/accountability, bail reform, criminalization of poverty, mass incarceration (mandatory minimum sentences, juvenile life parole) and Clean Slate Act, which also includes emphasis on diversion of funds towards community based programs, education and training. (More information below – see Addendum). Through Police/Community Relations & Engagement, we are working with grass roots organizations and police directly through various efforts to build trust within our communities and increase educational and employment opportunities.

Took me 5 minutes to find these links. I imagine you are just as capable.

exactly,.. which is why this "protesting" is a non-issue, or at least it should be.... i don't understand why it's such a big deal to everyone, but apparently it is....

IMO, instead of hitting a knee, they need to make sure they are hitting a voting booth, every time elections happen, rather than sit on the sideline, no pun intended, and complain about what's happening... or even better yet, actually get involved and run for some of these offices and try to change policy from within.....

That’s the dichotomy of the left I think. The point doesn’t matter. It’s all about right now. Foresight be damned.

I posed this question in another thread. Basically if they want things to be better then they have to make it happen.

To answer the OP, no. They are asking for things that are impossible to measure because you can't measure their feelings.

I think the whole thing is silly. The protest and the outrage over it.

Let's say they get their wish. Then what?

This is what happened in Zimbabwe. Whites were killed and their property was taken. And yet after all of that, it did nothing to make black lives better.
