I understand the mistrust from both sides, but I just wanted to try and focus on this one point in this thread. The RNC didn't lose their leader due to a scandal so I think this has some merit as the Dems have shown to have a penchant for doing things very unscrupulously during this election cycle. I could give a list but we all know what I am talking about.

I will say, it's difficult to know what to believe anymore from either side. The news media proved themselves completely unreliable during the election season, and we have their emails in wroting detailing how they cooridinate with the DNC. In the meantime we have wildly innaccurate blogs, biased "factcheckers", ect. There simply is a massive volume of information coming at us, but no one has proven themselves to be above bias and spin. Our current events have gotten so crazy, that we can't even make up stories more unbelievable than what has actually transpired. At this point, there is simply no one we can trust, and no story to outlandish to not possibly be true. There is no truth. There are no facts. There is only narrative.

They've been shamelessly lying to the public as long as I can remember...
I remember in the late 80s, there was a town hall meeting with Dan Rather and the public was just beginning to wake up from their long slumber of trusting the media and thinking they were just neutral observers of the news and not political advocates, spin doctors, lobbyists for the Dems or creators of bogus news manufactured to further a political agenda.
And the people in the audience were naïvely asking sheepishly, if Rather thought there might be a liberal bias in big media?
And Rather got all hot and bothered and said, I don't think so at all, no way...and he stammered...the media has to be neutral...this is just a conspiracy theory among right wing radicals, etc.
You could tell he knew the curtain had been pulled revealing the great Oz was a fraud and wouldn't be given the unabashed benefit of the doubt like Cronkite...The entire big media machine as a tool for the government and especially the left in government was exposed that night on TV.
