Right. He knows absolutely nothing about Putin. I see you're one of those who are still struggling on how to interpret how Trump speaks. You'll get there.

When he says he won't read/take intelligence briefings and then says he watches hours of cable news a day, and that this is where he gets his info, what does this mean?

and also which of the prime z-axis phases of 3D chess are we in when he's playing this uberzugzwang of death?

Spin, baby, spin.

Dare I ask for a link to where the President says he will refuse to take intelligence briefings while he is President?

I assume you're referring to that time when he was President-Elect that he reportedly didn't want to have intelligence briefings that gave the same repetitive information, or that time when he was President-Elect that he was meeting with potential nominees and he reportedly cancelled an intelligence briefing to meet his schedule/travel needs.

That does not mean that the President "won't read/take intelligence briefings."

I think Trump is smart by talking of Putin like he has been.

Would it be smart to bash a foreign leader before you've even had the chance to have any foreign relations with them before you even take office?

Even now that he's in office, is it smart to bash Putin or any other leader before he's even gotten his cabinet in place?

Seems pretty stupid for him to bash any foreign leaders that he might expect to have serious negotiations with before he even has a meeting or phone call with.

No need to paint any narrative TO THE MEDIA of all people before starting a foreign relationship with a man like Putin.

It's almost like setting yourself up for a shitty relationship right off the bat.

Just my 2 cents.

that's pretty much what he's done since day one, including leaders in the United States that he's not really met or had discussions with.

Very impressed with his 'USA isn't innocent' response.

Not sure how the libs decide to spin it and riot about it.

@ the hypocrisy some of you are willing to embrace. If this was Obama, you'd skewer him for apologizing and taking such a pussified approach to it.

Most everyone in here is acting like retarded liberals, forming real opinions on his positions based on a soundbite with zero context. How about you all act like rational human beings and watch the entire interview before spouting off your "thoughts"??? What a bunch of losers acting like total babies!

Obama would never make that statement. He's not a realist. Also, for the bashers of Trump's respect declaration, you're using it in the sense of adoration. Damn, you've never heard the phrase "respect your enemies"? You guys are being pretty nitpicky, but it's what you do.

I think when Trump uses the word "respect" he means it to say that he hold that person's abilities in high regard and not to mean that he looks up to or likes the person. I think he respects Putin as a powerful man who is not to be trifled with. I don't think he respects Putin in the same terms as Obama respects Saul Alinski.

This..damn it's not that hard to understand...he respects Putin as someone that is not to be underestimated with but he's going to let Putin know he is not going to be pushed around like the libtards messiah Obama was for 8 years...

Get used to this over the next 8 years.

The liberals refuse to learn the way trump speaks. They take everything he says out of context or too densely

Damaging to our reputation to admit we go around Willy nilly and kill people because we don't like them?

I'm sure no one noticed this before.
