from what i understood, they made you go camping with a parent to prevent getting but fricked. to be fair this could be a lie my parents told me they wouldn't have to deal with me camping/ being in the boy scouts in general .
Regardless, being gay doesn't mean you frick kids, being a pedophile does. And pedophiles can pretend to be straight long enough to become a boy scout leader regardless.
