Did the excitement of the election kill football season for you?

I can honestly say for the first time in 20 years that I have lost interest in this season, and it's directly related to MAGA.
Am I alone?

A) No. Sumlin did.
B) Fire Saban. Relieve the boredom.

Well it doesn't help that the team hasn't lived up to expectations. But yeah I'm totally more into politics than football right now.

No. Auburn's inept offense did. The election only helped me have a distraction.

No. the annual LSU shite show killed fototball season.

No. Losing to UGA did.

Well, that and some losses by LSU.

It helped, but the SJW at Mizzou already soured it for me last year.

To say I haven't given much of a shite about football season this year has been an understatement. Couldn't compare to the excitement of the election.

That makes me feel a little better but UGA losing to Florida, Tennessee and Vandy killed football season for me.

I didn't lose interest at all, but for some reason, in my few decades of serious fanship, I've never had a season of LSU football fly by in such a flash. It feels like it should be week 3 or 4.
It's bizarre.
Can't put my finger on it.

I definitely have been more focused on MAGA than football. Our defense is God awful though.

Also, SEC football and college football in general is being hurt by Saban.
I appreciate his dominance and tip my hat to him but college football is going to be so much better after he hangs it up.
