Did the Democratic base stay home?

Looking at the results, it seems like that the Dems came in close to projected in NH and AK (states with low minority populatoins), while they came in worse than projected in many of the other states with larger African American and Hispanic populations.

White lib Dems will have to surrender their power for the continued success of the party in highly populated minority states. Blacks have seen the top of the mountain, anything less not worth their time. Will only get worse for Dems in these scenarios
