Since Faux News sold us out, I’ve been watching Newsmax daily. Today we are greeted with a subscription fee to watch.

I’m considering it, but they just gave me a good reason to try and go without it.

Why rely on main stream media sources at all?

This stuff isn’t produced for free and most advertisers are too scared of the left to advertise on their network.

How are they supposed to produce uncensored content that they truly believe in?

NewsMax has been actually reporting and discussing legit issues involved with this war while Fox News spent all day talking about Ron Desantis fricking shoes he wears

Don’t rely on it. I let it play in the background while working. Definitely won’t be the end of the world to not have it, which is basically my point.

Just add archive.ph/ to the beginning of the website to get around pay walls.

They are on my satellite package. You must be talking about online streaming.

Yes, from their app. Haven’t had a satellite in several years.

What kind of ads? If their ad slots are pennies on the dollar because of no demand that isn’t a great revenue source.

Do you want them to produce better content? New creative projects? They have to have money to do that. You want them making money.

Conservatives always miss the mark here. It takes money to compete in the entertainment market.

People bitch at the DailyWire for putting stuff behind a paywall, but subscriber revenue allows them to make new projects like Bentkey, Convicting a Murder, What is a Woman, Etc.

Most people understand how business works, you aren’t some kind of genius.

They went years without it and got the biggest boost of watchers from the Tucker Carlson firing. Why now? And no, I don’t need better content. What they currently do is just fine.

The better question you should be asking is what am I paying Netflix. That’s an argument to be made.

Is there anything that isn't bullshite from the left or bullshite from the right and, yet, still points out the biases of CBS, NYT, etc.? I'm not looking for conspiracy bullshite and hopium.

I didn’t imply that I am. Just that conservatives often miss the mark here. I see it on political and religious media productions. I got an ad on Facebook for a new documentary where they interviewed numerous Christian monastics about the meaning of life. The comments were just full of people asking why it wasn’t free

Maybe they have a strategy to grow their business. What are their metrics? Are they losing audience? Do they see an opportunity to expand beyond what they are currently doing? You might not be interested in their future plans but maybe they do something that brings new audiences in. I don’t watch Newsmax and have zero interest, but I’m open to checking out if they do something new and creative.

I can’t answer for you, but I’m paying for Netflix because of my wife.

War Room is the only news show you need, two hours each morning and two hours every afternoon and then the wrap up Saturday morning show. War Room is the unfiltered truth the Anti Trump Consortium either detests or fears.

Daily Wire and The Blaze both make huge amounts of money from subscriptions. If people like the content they will pay for it.
