"Better Skills, Better Jobs, Better Wages"
Give credit where credit is due.
That's a billion times better than "I'm with Her" or "It's Her Turn."
Plus, it tacitly addresses the reason they lost in 2016 - their severe neglect of the American middle class.

Yeah but it's so god damn cynical. I mean they might as well have gone with "We now realize we still need the white vote for at least a few more cycles. Please forget about the BLM riots. Vote Blue 2018!"

Or "Love Trumps Hate".

Sure. And their policies (if they actually attempt to form some this time around) won't have a prayer of increasing jobs and wages.
But, again, the theme - even if its hollow - is a vast improvement from 2016.

Let me see if I can translate the theme and make sense of it.
Better skills - we , the government will embark on a PR campaign to get a consensus to fund "job training programs" that will be obsolete by the time you get your certification...but some enterprising politically connected types will get rich off of running those programs
Better Jobs - we can't guarantee this , but it sounds good....we are going to teach all of you that apply how to use Windows on a computer.... a few of you will get to learn how to be welders and machinists....but not many unless you join a union....we are not going to pay for you to learn the trades overall.....
Better wages - we will push for an increase in the minimum wage to 15.00 an hour so you can afford to work at McDonalds or Popeyes until costs propel them to automate vast aspects of the business. But with the money tat you earned, you can go back to school, go deep into debt with an education loan and repeat the Better Skills part.

SKILLS, JOBS, WAGES Yea, that's usually how it works. Problem is, most of those who support dems don't have the skills but want the jobs and wages.

Yes, very cynical and kind of mean when you get down to it. They will not spread out into poor black neighborhoods where the skills problem is the greatest and start up apprentice /training programs for young black males in particular to learn things like being an electrician ( we do have an extreme shortage of good ones) Competent plumbers and HVAC guys. As well as machinists and welders.
We need guys like that, desperately. Instead we will teach them about Windows, computer apps or worse teach them or train them to be friggin glorified orderlies as Certfied Nursing Assistants that get paid 9-10.00 an hour. No wonder they would rather sling dope on the street corner.....street level dealers make about 13-15.00 an hour.

The slogan should be "Hindsight in 2020."

It seems catchier than "Repeal and Replace Trump."

Well Trumps policies are "the best" according to him so best>>>>better

Not quite as catchy as "I'm with her!"
