They are half right. Our democracy is under attack, it's just under attack from establishment, unelected deep state, and the unelected media. Think about this. While I have no faith in 90% of republican congressman and especially none in Paul Ryan they were atleast obstructing policy that was either further damaging to the economy or against enforcing laws.
The only thing trump has truly proposed are attempts to enforce laws on the books already and the economic improvement of a healthcare bill which has bipartisan acknowledgement of being a failure. He has also taking stances to not go to war and making it a preference for US manufacturing over foreign manufacturing.
The democrats stances from their actions:
They are against enforcing laws the laws that keep us a productive and safe society.
They are against the creation of a bill to fix the previous healthcares failures.
They are against retaining good manufacturing jobs in the US.
They are for War with Russia and the Middle East.
