Hell, we have political candidsates saying that the earth could be 6k years old and that ID should be taught in the school. We have moronic candidates who say that women get pregnant when raped because they want to get pregnant.

You have identified perhaps three individuals who are completely outside the normal range of conservative thought (assuming by Republican you mean all conservatives.)

I know there was a fringe candidate who said something stupid about "true rape" but I have no idea what candidates you are referring to who believe the earth is 6000 years old. Perhaps some fundamentalist preacher somewhere have said this and maybe one of them ran for office.

But when you equate these outliers to the antics of Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Holder, et al you do a disservice to your credibility.

Stop man made global warming, break up big oil and control big pharm, take the money away from evil rich people and distribute it to the poor, expand Obamacare, and pass out tie dyed t-shirts to everybody.

Obama didn't push the democrat party to the left they already were that way.

The democrat party is not a reflection of Obama, Obama is a reflection of the democrat party.

How so?

I said she was more competent than Obama. Her shortcomings, failures and lack of accomplishment aside she remains more competent than barry Obama.

Pretty much. It was more of an indictment of barry than praise of Hillary. I didn't present that very well though.

Admittedly, when posting initially I also considered that the Clintons may attempt to get the band back together for 2016. For good or for ill they could prove to be more competent than the amateurs currently in power.

If Obama were far left he wouldnt have had guys like Larry Summers and Tim Geitner in his administration.

If he were far left a lot of Wall Street types would be in prison this afternonn and not at the country club.

You have officially lost any possibility of being taken seriously ever again with this statement.

Ogump is a good example of why a one-dimensional political spectrum is meaningless.

He's a die-hard statist on fiscal issues, social issues, and civil liberties. A liberal would oppose big government on at least some fiscal issues (like bailouts and corporate welfare). Prior to a few years ago, liberals were also content to have government be hands off on social issues...now they want to force their values on everyone, for example with the contraception mandate.

I'm not a Clinton apologist or fanboy in the least but Obama can't carry his cigar case. At least when Clinton spoke I didn't immediately want to punch him in the face because he was so fricking smug like Obama. Clinton was at least likeable to a point and I never thought he was trying to turn America into some sort of commie haven. Plus when he had to Clinton actually worked with Republicans (Newt) on a fiscal plan, even if the Repubs win both houses I believe Obama would pout for two years and not do shite except either veto everything or still use his phone and pen.
