Now is the time. The Establishment and the Media are running perfect interference for you with their bullshite allegations. Get off of Twitter and start implementing everything on which you ran: build the wall, get our federal budget under control, fix the tax code, propose a constitutional amendment for congressional term limits, clean the bureaucratic house, etc.

Submit your plans to Congress, and when Congress dithers or balks, use whatever power you have to force your plans through. Ignore the banshee-like scream of the the media. Just get it done, and your supporters will continue to support you.

Be a man. Bully pulpit. Frick the do nothing Congress and the Establishment. They are not your friends. They are our enemies.

DRAIN THE SWAMP.

Doesn't work with 38% approval.

You know any one of those things is much easier said than done. Most new presidents don't get more than a couple of major initiatives through before the midterms. Trump's admin is considerably less capable than most. I mean the only major legislative win so far (ACHA) is DOA in the Senate, which will move to re-draft its own version.

If it does anything at all.

I don't dispute any of that. But Trump's administration needs to be revamped. Newt should be COS, as he should have been all along. He needs to find capable allies in Congress, not backstabbing bitches like most of them are, and push his agenda. When it doesn't work, do what Obama did: use the pen.

Action is what will save him. Playing on Twitter and watching the narrative get shaped around him will not.

When the natives are slinging arrows at you, drive a tank through those sons of bitches.

And frick the Senate. They were set to be his biggest obstacle from day 1.

You want to make spineless fricks who jump when Trump says "up" grow a spine- try and dictate to them. Trump has little to no power to force his plans through, the one real option Presidents command is the public will and Trump's approval is cratering. Other than that President's can only work the edges-- why do you think Obama basically played defense with a few exceptions after 11/2010?

Nah. He's more interested in narcissistic self-pity.

From his speech at the USCGA on Wednesday: "No politician in history — and I say this with great surety — has been treated worse or more unfairly."

I guess he's never heard of Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years in prison.

Trump being a largely directionless person whose primary motivation is to obtain praise.

I think he'll fulfill his promises to the extent 1) he thinks he can and 2) he thinks he'll be praised and revered for it

It's funny that some of you believe this is accurate. Or maybe you're just trolling.

Because the Democrats lost the House.

Republicans have both houses right now. Trump should take the initiative. If it doesn't work, make them look like fools and use the executive tools at his disposal.
