Current stats on Gorsuch filibuster

Senators Manchin and Heitkamp will NOT support the filibuster. (Both are from solid GOP states and both are up for re-election, surprised Manchin doesn't just switch parties to save his neck but he is popular so he probably won't.)
Senators Brown (OH), Cardin, and Leahy undecided (I thought Leahy had said he wouldn't).
Every other Democrat is on board with the filibuster or has yet to take a position (notably Senator McCaskill is not on the list).
So either someone blinks, we invoke the two-speech rule, we invoke the nuclear option, or McConnell turns turtle.

I think enough Ds will come over just so the Rs don't go nuclear

I'm surprised Nelson (Florida) will filibuster. He's up for re-election in a swing state that went for Trump, and as his re-election is during mid-terms he may not get the strong Dem turnout he needs.

They should let them filibuster, the right should pull Gorsuch, install the nuke and push through the youngest, healthiest, conservative judge they can find. Then for the next scouts appointment, put up Gotsuch again...

Id save the nuke for when Ginsburg inevitably croaks. Would be fitting to replace the leftist bitch with a young conservative man

This is my thought. Wait until Ginsberg kicks the bucket then we will see what McConnell is made of.

The Left has already shown they don't care about rules.
Nuke 'em now and get it over with.
