if it assured Trump Movement hegemony for the next 8 years? Such certainly would allow Trump to stack the Supreme Court, and win major slices of former oppositional Demographics. And efficient/responsible money spent on infrastructure and honest labor is not wasted like the Obama 'Stimulus'. The Government WILL spend money to assuage societal Class division; it is more a matter of which Ideology does the spending. Would it be worth it for Constitutional Conservatives to captain the ship? Up if you would...down no. With reasoning for vote.

I say it's worth the debt/inflation...for the 8 years.

Stacking the supreme court is worth it.

Plus our infrastructure needs work.

I would support it if it actually went into infrastructure.

I'm not willing to say I support it.

I will say that outside of deficit spending used to respond to a legitimate national crisis (necessary war or the like), it's probably the most tolerable form of deficit spending.

Yeah, it needs to be done now while interest rates are still low, making it cheap to invest in ourselves. If they wait 3-4 years from now it will cost us a ton more money.

We need real infrastructure that will help drive our economy for decades into the future.

Yes. I'd rather pay Americans to work to build something that will benefit us all long term than to just stick money in their pockets that simply goes into weed, rims, Coca-cola, potato chips, lottery tickets, smartphones.

This was the formula Roosevelt used. The government spent a shite ton of money, but the country got a hell of a lot of infrastructure out of the 1930s and 40s still benefitting us today. We got a lot of roads, bridges, and a Big arse Wall that needs needs building or replacing/repairing.

The funny thing is, the New Deal was considered outrageously progressive at the time. Now liberals would be horror-struck by the relationship to slavery/indenture-servitude that is making a person work to get government money. lol

Don't love the idea but, better choice than deficit spending on drug dealer cell phones.

And throw in Gen IV Nuclear Power Plants too, D. Very promising; in fact, they can 'burn' all that nuclear waste stored up in Kentucky, that we were going to have to bury somewhere anyway.

Unanimous vote so far. That is interesting, and likely a true reflection of Conservatives across the Nation. Especially if we quit throwing good money after bad all across the Globe; for sure in the ME.

This economy would take off like a rocket, using USA manufactured steel, etc. Of course, so would inflation. Rates rising real quick would be something that I have no clue on as to degree negative affect on economy.

Light at the end of the tunnel.

Agreed.

If we are going to spend money on infrastructure then the best time to do it is when interest rates are so close to zero.
