Been here for 11 years. I guess I haven't been paying close enough attention because I haven't heard this yet.

I'm honest enough to admit that as a minarchist, I'm basically an extreme libertarian.

It's easier for a conservative to admit than a liberal for some reason. I'm much less fond of big government than most Republicans.

But, apparently it's okay for extreme liberals to elect a Communist mayor of NYC.

Got it.

He's a communist? The CPUSA has membership where you pay dues and you are listed as a member. Can you prove that he is a member of the CPUSA?

That's cool because New York is probably one of the last states in the union I would want to visit much less live/work in. frick Cuomo and the horse he rode in on.

Your ability to pay. Greenbacks are universally accepted.

You're right, definitely not Communist (at least not Soviet style).

Are they these extreme conservatives who are right-to-life

How Obama-like to tell certain people they are not welcome. So, I'm guessing that the Pope won't be invited to NY.

And conservatives are the divisive ones.

There are lots of conservatives in NY state; just not in NYC. Same thing with Ill. Chicago is liberal while the rest of the state is full of conservatives. Imagine what La. would be like politically if New Orleans had a population of 5 million.

No, he's not. Read an accurate translation of what he wrote.

Besides, abortion trumps all.

Not to mention the romantic getaway honeymoon in Cuba he and his lovely wife enjoyed, or his work with those champions of Human Rights, the Sandinistas.

Gonna have to disagree with you on that. I'm a Catholic, and I assume you are one too.

Though I am not happy with some of the stances they've taken. Except for the Abortion Issue/Death Penalty which I feel is part of "living the gospel".

I'm especially upset with some lay people attempting to use the Church here in BR to get involved in a civil matter, and with some Priests who have acquiesced.

I won't mention the issue, because it's been hacked to death on this board.

Have to wonder about the "...". But... For the record... same guy whose administration is running "Businesses can move to NY TAX FREE" commercials on TVs across the nation...
