She doesn't fit my idea of how a human being should be. I abhor strident, uncivil, bombastic and shrill discourse. George Will is every bit as conservative as Coulter, but a lot easier on the ear, and as a result, a lot more persuasive. Occasionally, Will as caused me to reconsider some of my positions, but Coulter never has.

This.

Her books are well researched, well written and present compelling arguments. Strong as mustard though and at times unnecessarily abrasive. I like her despite those shortcomings.

I truly miss Shultz's radio show from the Bush era. His multi-segment rants on how the media was over the top pro-Bush were as epic as they were funny. At time I couldn't tell if they were real are satire.

Remember, Ed Schultz called Ann's friend, Laura Ingraham, a talk slut. I find it very sad as well as peculiar that men on here are fine with him calling a woman a slut but upset with Ann calling Ed a pussy.

Who is fine with it? FYI, feminist groups were outraged, Schultz apologized, Ingraham accepted his apology and MSNBS suspended him.

How many law school graduates and holders of Masters in other diciplines does Fox and your favorite MSNBullshit have employed versus Fox? How many books published by the two are on the market and considered best sellers even by the NYT(which they have to hate to admit) as a source of measurement?

Yea, one said it on public radio and is under contract. The other isn't paid to host a TV/ Radio program. I don't think the 2 situations are really the same.

Is Coulter out of line? It's her personal opinion and she doesn't have a job as far as I know. If she was a TV host on FOX or any other station she would need to issue an apology though.

I enjoy reading her column much more than listening to her on TV.

But ... she is very smart. That's my opinion.

Don't forget that the National Review fired her for writing a distasteful column, so if she can't behave herself for the print media, TV and radio executives know she wouldn't behave herself in the broadcast media.

but who really cares about persuading the ignorant fricks? They are what they are, they lap up the smiling faces that lie to the races, there's no persuading them anyways.

^^^^^^ This reaction to my post points to:

Seriously though, I didn't say anything about anyone else other than Schultz or Coulter and mentioned nothing about "faux news" as you put it. And Coulter is really very intelligent. She graduated number 1 in her class from law school at the University of Michigan. She is very sharp.
