How can anyone who calls himself a conservative or claims to believe in limited government justify this statement? There was no attempt to pursue the suspect. He had already been detained, his information obtained and his property seized. If you can't find him immediately upon fleeing obtain a bench warrant for cycling without a light and resisting arrest. It happens all the time. It happened to me. I was "pulled over" for cycling without a light. I didn't get shot.
Cycling at night without lights is dangerous for the biker, motorists and other pedestrians.

This should be the closing line in defense of the LEO. Screw adherents to the modern "run away from cops" mentality.
Haven't searched any more info about this, but what were they handcuffing him for? Where there prior threats or threatening behavior?
Cops are human - they have a tough job - they have a job where too many a'holes demand absolute perfection more so that in any other profession.
Teach the next generation some respect and responsibility, and this stuff will disappear in 20 years. Until then, live with the dysfunctions created by past SJWs.

Because riding a bike at night without a light is such a safe thing to do. Whether it was the cop or some driver who couldn't see the idiot, death was inevitable. Natural selection working again.

Resisting arrest
Ran away from police but turned back toward them.
Split second decisions, they're not always correct, but at least some blame has to be placed on the guy for putting himself in that situation. It's not like cops just roll through the ghetto doing drive-bys on black folks.

I've seen this - he has a felony record and tells the cops that he's going to cut them. This isn't on the video so you have to take their word for it though. Assuming the cops aren't lying I have no problem with this shot.
