Its this attitude that gives the cops the confidence /arrogance to believe that they can get away with anything because we take their words near unquestioned over a vicious Thug seatbealt violator .

This is the point people are trying to make that cops shouldn't see every citizen as a 'criminal'.

This is the very reason we need body cameras on cops as well .

Google Marcus Jeter of New Jersey & witness the epidemic of unarmed Black men going for Officers guns with hands in the air.

That seems to be the go to lie for cops after shooting someone unarmed ; "he was going for my gun" or 'going for a gun'.

Tonight it was revealed on MSNBC, that Levar Jones was kept in handcuffs until midnight, until another trooper finally showed up at the hospital, informed him that he wasn't being charged with anything, and then took the handcuffs off. And some people wonder why Black folks are distrustful of the police.

The shooting happened late afternoon so this means the guy was handcuffed to a bed for around 8 hours or more. Damn. Cha-ching.

The officer, as useful ,lied or a greatly exaggerated Levar Jones actions by saying that Jones 'stared at him menacingly' , 'jumped back into his car & came out with a black object'(nothing in his hands) & 'continuing advancing towards me as I fired'.

I always announce to officers where my papers /license registration is because of trigger happy fools like him('Its in my center console' or 'its in my glove compartment').

I don't think this officer is a general menace to the public & I don't believe harshly locking him up for decades is warranted . BUT this gun charge should definitely follow him & he should never ever be allowed a gun/badge again.

I actually think this is a good thing.

The cop makes a mistake and immediately tries to help the poor guy out.

I think the cop should be reinstated because cops are people and people make mistakes.

I think the victim should get around two million and I bet he would be happy with that.

You must be trolling.

I agree with this. I think there a lot of White cops who get trigger-happy whenever they encounter or pull over Black folks, because they are genuinely terrified of them. These sorts of people shouldn't be cops in the first place.
