Conservatives are too nice/tolerant

I thought about this when I saw Herschel Walker recount how he lost friends over sticking with Trump; "live and let live" might have worked in a different time but the modern left is completely deranged and authoritarian: they want to crush you into grovelling Drew Brees or Mike Gundy- style submission if you dare to disagree with them. Why should we not "cancel" them in return? Stop talking to liberal friends who you see posting left wing stuff and stop supporting enterprises that push progressive tropes.

I agree. And we’re too principled. We choose to stick with principles that benefit our opposition rather than going for the jugular. Our aversion to taxing the The shite out of the assholes funding all the chaos is an example of this.

While agree, there is more to this. Conservatives have more to lose by acting a fool. We get arrested we lose our jobs, have to pay attorney fees, maybe lose our homes, and so on. When the time comes we have to act a fool, this country will be on the brink of disaster.

I’m a Christian first and foremost. My annoyance with the left doesn’t override my devotion to Christ and my need to act Christ-like towards others to the best of my ability. I can boycott or whatever but I can’t sink to their level with the amount of hatred and vitriol they have towards their enemies.

Yeah I think that shite is over now after seeing what is happening with Drew. He basically managed to pissed off both sides while gaining nothing. He would have been better off telling them to frick off and take the lumps versus caving and honoring a rapist.
