Connecticut Company Offers ‘Snowflake’ Test to Vet Potential Employees

A Connecticut-based marketing company has created a “snowflake” test to weed out entitled liberal Millennials.
The Silent Partner Marketing company has come up with a unique way to vet potential employees. The firm developed a survey for applicants asking a number of questions about themselves. Questions include “What does America mean to you?” and “How do you feel about guns?”
Kyle Reyes, CEO of Silent Partner Marketing appeared on Fox & Friends on Wednesdney, saying “I needed a filter to sort through all of that.” He claimed the reason for the test was to find employees who fit best with the “culture” of the company and the clients they represent.
The CEO said that “Someone who’s not proud to be an American” would be automatically disqualified from a job at the firm. He added that any successful applicant should also be for the Second Amendment, saying that many in the company carry firearms and represent clients who do as well.

if left was right and right was left, those snowflakes would be silenced, beaten and pepper-sprayed by right-wingers

Now that they know the snowflakes can lie on the test. Should have kept that quiet.

Yep. "This requirement has nothing to do with the job!"
"This test disproportionately affects blah blah blah"

A marketing CEO created an absurd questionnaire which just so happens to get him free national publicity? No fricking way...

Bet most of the people personally contact the company looking for a job, so they'll know how to skew the test in their favor if they've done any research.

The test actually was made by an actual snowflake.

Among those questions?
Outside of standard benefits, what benefits should a company offer employees?
What are your feelings about employees or clients carrying guns?
What are your feelings about safe spaces in challenging work environments?
Should “trigger warnings” be issued before we release content for clients or the company that might be considered “controversial”?
How do you feel about police?
When was the last time you cried and why?
What are your thoughts on the current college environment as it pertains to a future workforce?
What does “faith” mean to you?
You see someone stepping on an American Flag. What happens next?

This might get them into trouble since religion is a protected class. They pretty much have to make a point of hiring a few applicants who say "It's not my thing but I don't have anything against it."
If they disqualify applicants who express open hostility, they can argue that they can't risk hiring anyone who is openly prejudiced, as that can run afoul of nondiscrimination laws.
The gun questions are kosher because clients carry guns and if you can't handle that, you're better served finding a different job.
Asking about the current college environment makes sense for applicants who are recent graduates and don't have significant experience in the workforce. Being able to adapt to your work environment is an important skill. Especially if it's a relatively small company where you wear a lot of different hats and have to learn how to do new tasks.

Technically, none. The only potential problem is the faith question I mentioned in my earlier reply.
If a black applicant is distrustful of police and states a valid reason (like the NYPD planted weed on his brother to meet their arrest quotas), the company will be more understanding. If a white SJW says they're pigs and need to die, they don't get hired.
Demanding safe spaces or excessive side benefits can and should get you laughed out of a job interview.
