POW!!

"Hillary Clinton emails containing classified information were forwarded to former congressman Anthony Weiner, the director of the FBI testified Wednesday as he defended his handling of politically sensitive probes surrounding the last year’s presidential race.

Under questioning from the senior Democrat on the committee, Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), James B. Comey revealed more details about how Clinton’ s emails ended up on the computer of former congressman Anthony Weiner.

Weiner , a New York Democrat, was married to a top aide to Clinton, Huma Abedin. Weiner was being investigated separately for possible inappropriate communications with a minor.

“Somehow, her emails were being forwarded to Anthony Weiner, including classified information,’’ Comey said. The director defended his decision to notify Congress that he had re-opened the Clinton email probe just days before the election, saying he was forced to choose between saying something or concealing what he knew, or as he put it, “between really bad and catastrophic.’’

With Lynch as AG that question answers itself.

Now not so much.

Correct but they can recommend so the question should be "How the hell did he decide not to recommend prosecuting that lying arse bitch?"

The integrity of the FBI has taken a hit. You do illegal shite - knowingly or not - and don't get prosecuted?

SOmeone was doing Comey a favor.

This. He succumbed to political pressure. He knew that reopening the case would probably be enough to make a difference which it like did. But he did not want to directly impact the election by recommending prosecution.

Clinton violated USC 18 S. 793 (f) Reads in part:

"Whoever, being entrusted with or having lawful possession or control of any document, writing, code book, signal book, sketch, photograph, photographic negative, blueprint, plan, map, model, instrument, appliance, note, or information, relating to the national defense... (2) having knowledge that the same has been illegally removed from its proper place of custody or delivered to anyone in violation of its trust, and fails to make prompt report of such loss, theft, abstraction, or destruction to his superior officer—
Shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than ten years, or both."

Allowing her personal attorneys to see her State Dept - e-mails was a serious felony.

Outcome would have been the same even if this was not reported. She was cooked by the end of September.

Because none of this was suppose to come out. FBI agents were already pissed by the major announcement that there would be no indictment. When he found out they were still snooping and about to break the Weiner emails, Comey jumped out ahead of his agents and shut it down. Comey never thought Trump would actually win the election.

Comey was a donor and associated with Clinton Foundation. He's a political animal that only cares about survival. Clinton was suppose to win and Comey gets to stay in his job.

Somehow? The FBI has been investigating this for over a year and you are still unsure HOW emails were sent to an inbox? Not exactly the kind of thing that instills confidence in your "investigation".
