Comey said he wanted to document the accounts bc he thought trump would lie about the meetings later.
Trump released the reason Comey was fired was the way he handled the Clinton case and then trump went on NBC not 24 hours later and said it was the Russia investigation.
Comey pegged trump as a liar.

Comey testified he never made memos like this for meetings with other presidents. The link proves he in fact did
