The last time a Republican won the White House, it took Comedy Central until Apri 4, 2001 to launch the oh-so hilarious "That's My Bush!"

After 8 glorious years of not being able to mock the president of the United States, they're waiting all the way until April 27th to launch "The President Show."

quote:

Comedy Central said it would launch “The President Show,” a weekly late-night program created by and starring comedian Anthony Atamanuik, who has developed a reputation for his impression of the current U.S. President. The program, which will air Thursday nights at 11:30 p.m, following the network’s “The Daily Show,” serves to further the Viacom outlet’s late-night ambitions, which were shaken by the cancellation last year of “The Nightly Show,” led by Larry Wilmore.

The new program’s premise: Atamanuik’s President Trump is bypassing the mainstream media in favor and hosting a late-night show broadcast live from the Oval Office, where he doesn’t have to field questions from reporters or deal with the other trappings of his position. The program is expected to include desk segments, field pieces and interviews Peter Grosz will play Vice President Mike Pence. The program will launch on April 27, and a broadcast of “@midnight” slated for that time will move to 12:00 a.m.

We love our media deciding to mock and question authority again, don't we folks?

I think the media should question authority. It's a shame they failed to do so the last 8 years.

Perhaps the reason they didn't make fun of Obama was because the left get triggered so easily. We are just merely pointing out a double standard.

Hollywood scum.

Wonder how many children were molested during the making of the show.

Perhaps, the reason they didn't make fun of Obama was because he didn't show himself to be a complete and utter buffoon. I am just merely pointing out the obvious.

Authority should be mocked and questioned ALWAYS.

And so should those who follow it blindly.

If they would make a Trump version of "Lil' Bush", that would be awesome.

Obama couldn't run a lemonade stand. If you think spending more money than all the past presidents combined is competent then I guess hes your guy.

Which was about as unfunny as a Leukemia ward.

I'm sure this liberal drivel will be of equal quality. I wouldn't have minded if all presidents got equally ripped on but this shite is ridiculous.

He actually does a good Trump impersonation, unlike Baldwin.

And Comedy Central did make fun of Obama every once in a while (Key and Peele, most notably).
