(CNN)There's a predictable pattern to the aftermath of too many deadly police shootings: Neighbors and anti-police brutality groups take to the streets. Groups supporting the officers stand up for them. Social media lights up over whether the victim "did something" to provoke the officer.

But none of that holds true in the case of Justine Ruszczyk, a white Australian bride-to-be who was killed by Mohamed Noor, a Somali-American black police officer in Minneapolis.

Because the race and nationality of the victim and police officer aren't what has typically garnered headlines, people who normally speak up aren't saying much.

There are no SJWs in Aussie, just normal folks with jobs and common sense.

I suspect this officer will face repercussions due to the, so far, released facts surrounding this case.

The backlash will come from that, but it will be about how a black officer faces penalties while white officers don't.

Well, the narrative that drives people into the streets is about power disregarding and devaluing the lives of powerless people. There is something offensive about the idea that lower classes can be thrown aside or killed indiscriminately, or that by race alone we can classify people's lives as of lesser value.

When a good looking white woman is shot down, the idea that her life is seen by people in power to have less value is not implicated. In fact, the international outrage about this shooting shows that this victim is considered to have been of high value. no one can understand why anyone would shoot a tall blond woman in her pajamas.

Why would any group mobilize to take to the streets after this shooting? No one is defending the officer, as is the case in virtually every shooting of an unarmed black man. Who is being disrespected? No one. White people won't protest to say that they aren't valued, because they feel that they ARE valued by society.

You can't use this situation to confirm your race bias because it doesn't fit.

LSUTANGERINE is the stereotypical POS not even his own kind care for.

Nonetheless, I don't think the officer is racist, I think he made a hasty / poor decision as a result of his lack of discipline and training.

She was white.

He is African AND Muslim.

Of course there are no protests.

The Left hates whites and loves Islam.

I'm more surprised that there aren't celebrations.

It's the stupidity of BLM...there are a lot of white folks that are getting clipped in questionable circumstances, too. If the issue were just bad, poorly trained, trigger happy cops and not this ridiculous racial whining we might get some traction on reigning in the shoot first, claim fear for life later, cops.

The simple message:

White lives don't matter to the media and black lives only matter if they're taken by whites or the police.

We don't need CNN to tell us why in their own way. We know why. The victim was white, they don't care. Probably figure she had it coming because of her white privildege.

I've been saying for at least 5 years that the police abuse of power, poor training, poor tactics, and excessive negative results will stop at precisely the moment it STOPS getting portrayed as a racial issue.

First off, the whole "blacks affected disproportionately" line is faulty stats.

But, beyond that, as long as even blacks paint it as basically, a black problem..........no one else gets animated.

It's not just a black problem. There have been horrible stories like this one all over the nation. They just don't get press.

It's a police power problem. The moment everyone realizes they have a dog in the hunt, they'll catch their prey.

Look up white people killed by police annually, it more than doubles blacks. I couldn't give you a single name until it was an Australian woman.

No one defends cops when a random white guy is killed in an unfortunate encounter because it's not a national headline being discussed.
