EVERY digital media company is in race to the death for every story. The goal is simple: get your link on facebook before anyone else.

It's killing editorial standards and allowing a lot more opinion and conjecture to slip through.

I sincerely think the news company that takes a step back and starts getting it right every time will be the eventual winner of this era. People would wait for an unbiased arbiter, if one could present itself.
