Of course she paid. She’s a white hospital employed pregnant woman. The counter is a group of black males under 40. Anyone stating anything otherwise is omitting almost 50 years of anecdotal evidence as to who is at fault.

If there’s a hang gliding accident or embezzlement scandal, it’s white people

If there’s a street burnout accident or store looting, it’s black people.

If someone falls off a roof or a ton of lumber is stolen, it’s our brethren from the south.

This shite isn’t that hard.

Perhaps. Regardless though, whether or not the "tears are real" is completely totally irrelevant. Given revelations as to what went down vs how it was represented, the fact you'd choose to even go there is DISGUSTING.

This is a PA, pregnant no less, who was simply trying rent a bike and ride to the metro station to go home. She is accosted by a bunch of trolls who film, edit, and distribute their duplicitous version of the setup.

As a result of the video, the woman is accused of trying to steal a Black man's bike. She's accused of being a White supremacist racist. She gets doxxed ... including her full name, employer, her medical training credentials, age, phone number, email, home address, route she takes to work, etc.

She ends up deluged with hate mail including death threats, as does the hospital. Strangers accost her entering and leaving her residence. Then the f*#king hospital administration buckles and suspends her.

Solid post. I would just add the tears may have been genuine.

Despite what “gender neutral” psychiatrists may claim about gender being a social construct, the fact is women are emotionally wired differently than men. My wife cries when she experiences extreme levels of emotional upheaval, whether it be tears of anger, fear or joy.

It isn’t a frequent occurrence and she is a solid and emotionally centered woman. Though women and men both experience a full range of human emotion, study after study has indicated women are prone to be more emotionally expressive than men.

Absolutely, that's why I responded perhaps the tears were real.

You can also add in what might have been stresses of a tough shift followed with the emotions of pregnancy. Sucks for this lady.

Is the time on that receipt covered ?
Yes.
There are a couple of probable reasons for that.

Importantly, the copies provided to press outlets do not appear to have been redacted. When I say "press" I'm including people clearly biased against the woman. E.g., a Black female commentator who received copies of the failed rental and the subsequent rental. The PA's attorney requested no public release of any of it.

The commentator's sole stated concern about the receipt was it did not include the woman's name. In a subtle dox, she said the second rental was for 25mins, giving the public a sense as to how far the PA rode from the hospital. Nasty woman! She then noted the second successful rental occurred a couple of minutes after the first attempt. She'd not have said that without a timestamp on both receipts. JFWIW.

Why use their language to vilify the victim here?

She’s not a Karen. It’s not a thing.

Of all the things going on in this video I can’t believe some people are fixated on her tears and if they’re real or not. How far fetched is it for a pregnant woman to cry in this situation?

This is another great point that needs emphasizing.

Not only is she a working mother in the healthcare industry, this woman is coming off a long shift and her hormones are raging because of her pregnancy. On the progressive scorecard, she checks all the right boxes for being a progressive saint.

Except she is white. How predictable to to see progressives expose their true nature by attacking this woman.

This is the logical end result of the progressive agenda. Like hyenas, progs inevitably will consume their own.

Not sure why everyone is jumping to conclusions. All you have to do is figure out who paid for the bike.

Any updates to the story? Anyone arrested?

Here's a good breakdown of what happened. The kid tried to get creative on the 45 min allowed on those CITI e-bikes before you get additional charges.

I don't agree with the creator of the video saying they were both at fault. But I will give credit to the kid's friend who offered her his bike to resolve the issue.
