Not to mention more people in Michigan showed up for the Republican primaries than the Democrat primaries. That single fact is when the sirens started going through my head that Trump was going to win the election, since I thought Trump secured Florida through directly addressing what happened in the Orlando Massacre.

More people nationwide participated in the GOP primaries than democrat. That should've been setting off huge alarm bells in the DNC and Brooklyn HQ.

That signaled enthusiasm was real and who it was favoring. It authenticated the notion of a change election than a validation of Obama's two terms.

For the lib media, the two years leading up to the election wasn't about being right or wrong, it was about pushing a story to persuade people to think that Hillary is good and Trump is a joke. The lib media has an agenda. And that is to criticize, criticize and then criticize some more with whoever they disagree with. frick them. They are not honest. They are bias.

reminds me of that story about DEM centers in the midwest begging for help from Brooklyn and Brooklyn basically laughing at them and turning up their nose

And they didn't do shite to combat this. Hillary only went to Michigan once and never stepped foot in Wisconsin during the general election. The rallies, it was just obvious.

95% of the country hates Hillary except for dumb feminists, the establishment, and celebrities. They never thought that someone as hated as Hillary who could only attract maybe 400 people to her rallies (and doing less than a 1/3 of them that Donald was) and that wasn't a major problem.

The way Donald won is everyone hated Hillary, Donald supporters were literally thrilled to vote for him, and people who would have been Hillary voters but not supporters stayed at home because they didn't want to get their hands dirty. They were totally oblivious this would occur, which is why it blew me away that the media was cocky about this. If they weren't so cocky, maybe Democrats would have gone out and voted instead of sitting on their asses sure that Trump would lose.

I don't buy his explanation for a second, because they blackballed everyone who said that Trump would win and blocked it from the American people. They were utterly clueless on how hated Hillary was since they cut the mics and wouldn't listen to anyone who would tell them the truth.

Exactly. A poll was linked on this board a few days ago that showed that 60% of Trump voters DON'T watch Fox News.

“I think we underplayed it a little bit out of political correctness fears,” Mr. Todd said.
BS !

He played it out of political correctness fears, alright. But it had nothing to do with sexism. It had to do with the SOB's own ingrained bias, and that of his colleagues in favor of libs.

The little lying dweeb showed zero evidence of any "sexist fears" when he interviewed Kellyanne Conway or Katrina Pierson.

Once a liar, always a liar.

Even celebrated with champagne bubbly the night before on the campaign plane and started talking to transition teams and cabinet picks the morning of the election.

I would've loved to see their reactions once they started getting real time data and it became clear something was wrong and then watching it all go to shite starting around 8:30 PM that night.

It must've been quite the nervous breakdown or nuclear meltdown depending on which way they went.

I disagree with the later. They (save for Fox) built Trump up as much as possible for the ratings and a virtual guarantee that Hillary would win the election. CNN played his primary rallies live and unedited. Not doing that for any other candidate was highly irresponsible on their part. Think about it: what if CNN played Rand Paul's rallies as much and unedited as Trump's? He would have been a much higher contender.

They wanted him to beat the other Republican candidates they knew could beat Hillary, and they also rigged it in the meantime against Bernie. The reason Trump is President is because of the media's backing.

For frick's sake, they let him host Saturday Night Live, which is fricking insane for a Presidential candidate. So while I find some of their Trump stuff funny, I find it even funnier that SNL was a major contributor as well to Trump being President. They were cocky as shite and then they start painting all Trump Supporters like this, what did they think was going to happen?

shite, I think it was even better, in that they popped it at noon on Election Day!

If they can do it impartially like they did the OJ Simpson trial, I'd love for Season 4 of American Crime Story to be Trump V Clinton.

Edit: they actually announced what Season 4 was the other day, which is related: The Monica Lewinsky Scandal

I long for a return back to the age of actual news. What you guys wont admit is that BOTH sides have fallen for the age of cable editorial news. Republicans only watch Fox. Editorial News infused with right wing opinion. It just doesnt bother you because you agree with it.
The problem is editorial cable news. Programs that dont bash the other side get trash ratings.

You make a semi-decent point, except Chuck Todd is the political director for NBC News and hosts Meet the Press. Not cable. (Supposedly) non partisan. Mainstream Media.

It made election night all the more savory. They didn't care to suggest to their side that she might lose.

It'll probably be years, maybe a decade before the real in depth tell all books come out chronicling what happened on Election Day and the days before.

But I'm imagining a few brawls with some brutal haymakers, head bangs, ugly crying, vases and other fine porcelain being thrown, sitting in stunned silence, hate fricking going on between interns, people getting so drunk it could drop an elephant.

There's no way you lose a slam dunk election and can have a calm and measured reaction.

Then how was it that this board was inundated with daily posts about shows on CNN and MSNBC? I learned of hosts I'd never heard of and other left wing websites I never knew existed.

Ask this board what it thinks of Sean Hannity.
