Good for him.

His ideas about mental health are fairly good as well, although I did get bored and quit reading after a bit.

He's trying to improve his conservative creds.

“This is the very embodiment of reform in name only. It simply defies common sense to believe that imposing a new and entirely arbitrary number of bullets that can be lawfully loaded into a firearm will somehow eradicate, or even reduce, future instances of mass violence,” Christie said. “Nor is it sufficient to claim that a ten-round capacity might spare an eleventh victim.”

Gun control in some form is inevitable. We cannot keep letting gun nuts dictate policy. It is as insane as letting fundamentalist Southern Baptists dictate social policy as well as educational curricula. Of course the gun nuts and fundy Christians are one and the same by and large.

Gun control is hitting your target rapidly and repeatedly. Go back and revisit the second amendment and understand what it says.

We need more and it is inevitable. Americans under 40 don't hunt nearly as much as previous generations and they are bright enough to see the lunacy of private citizens being allowed to purchase assault rifles. I guess what I am saying is that much stricter gun control is coming because it is demographically inevitable. Just like marijuana legalization and gay marriage equality.

I rarely shoot mine, I rarely take mine out of the closet, however, if I do I'm a "gun nut"? You can't be that stupid...

Pretty sure Americans are buy guns at record levels. And the AR15 is the most popular rifle in the US.

You can't compare restricting the rights of one and giving rights to another. Honestly, I could care less what anyone smokes or who they marry. Why should they care how many or what type of guns I have?

The only nuts are those who defy all the evidence and advocate greater government control and infringement of individual liberty.

Saying we need more gun control is the stupidest shite I've ever heard. Liberals are going to be burned at the stake with any gun control movement. Obama has been the best firearm salesman, ever. The ONLY reason he hasn't been removed from the oxygen consumption group is because of the looney cracker that would become POTUS. I can assure you that every gun owner in America is aware of the liberal movement and is stocking up on arms and ammo.

I've personally purchased more guns the last 5 years than I ever had and will continue to do so. I now find myself buying ammo every time I go to a sporting goods store just because I have zero faith in the American people anymore and will have plenty of supply when folks like you try to take my rights away. This issue is not up for debate.
