China accounted for 27% of Intel’s revenue in 2023, making it the company’s biggest market. AMD generated 15% of sales from China, including Hong Kong, last year.

But hey.. Let's play by a different set of rules right!

Let's reciprocate

Decoupling from China is a positive.

This kind of government manipulation will ultimately hurt the Chinese consumer.

I would rather make the choice about what products I buy versus some bureaucrat.

Use Russian oil as an example…..

Relying on an adversary for key supply chain items important for national security is a bigger negative than paying more

Did we learn nothing from the pandemic?

Supply and demand is a myth?

Let’s just say we ban all vehicles which aren’t manufactured in this country. You would limit your choices to GM, Ford or Chrysler.

Now tell me how that is a positive to the consumer.

China is an adversary? Are we at war with them?

I didn’t realize we were under attack.

Who has made this determination?

If you didn’t already know that china is at war with us then you should not be posting about this subject.

They are?

Huh. I must have missed where our Congress declared war on them.

We purchase over 20% of our pharmaceutical products from them. If they were at war with us it seems odd that they would be selling us products.

Strange.

That wasn't your point. Your point was if they do not allow the USA to sell them chips that the consumer there will pay more. That's not true.

Must have been in a 20 year coma and missed the biological, chemical, and economic warfare against us.

If there's one thing I admire about China is they don't see themselves as the villain.

We need leadership that doesn't hate America. This divisive government we have is killing any sense of pride that used to be dominant in the USA.

A large contingent of their models are produced in Mexico and Canada.

Put down the network media and think about this for a second.

Isn’t it a coincidence that some outside force is always trying to overthrow our country. When was the last time we were not at war with someone?

Meanwhile your government is taking half of what you earn and steadily eroding your freedoms.

But you just keep worrying about China and buying their products. (Because you are buying their products)
