this is the weak logic. You think everyone has the "right" to have any organization they want supported?

Just think about that.

I don't get it. The chick fil a hate is based upon statements made by the owner about his non support of gay marriage. Said owner is now dead. What is the controversy?

I'm so glad that I live in a part of the country where my kids' schools have affiliation with CFA. About once every six weeks, CFA will have a night where they pay 15% of the revenue for every order where the buyer states he/she is there from the school to the school's PTA.

Those California libs are idiots.

Truett Cathy's son said it. Truett Cathy is the founder who passed away. Regardless, this whole thing is ridiculous.

You mean the CEO who made a comment stating that he didn't support gay marriage?

He never said that. He said he was proud to be a supporter of traditional marriage. He never attacked gay marriage

This

I noticed quite a few correlations from the liberal posters making the racist point. That's very very flawed because it does not fully comprehend what is actually being said when people support traditional marriage. They do not hate gay people. No different than if they had a friend who was living with a significant other and having lots of sex with them outside of marriage. If asked, christians wouldn't say that they agree that is a proper relationship. They however would not hate that friend.

This is where the disconnect comes in. Libs believe it's impossible to disagree without hating the person. This is false. A racist actually hates the person. A racist actively hates a person down to their core. A Christian hates homosexuality but not homosexuals. It's a massive difference.

I hate many things people I know do. I still love and care for them. I do not bend on the issues I disagree with but I always show them love and respect. Unfortunately the media and "enlightened" people have convinced a whole lot of people that disagreement means hatred. It's an illogical, pathetic, intellectually dishonest lie.

Chik-Fil-A hates gays. So if you value inclusiveness, you wouldn't want to help them profit.

Though back in 1997 it would have been fine with me if Tara High School's football club had gone with Chik-Fil-A. Instead they went with pizza and ordered 30 extra large to be delivered every morning at 11:00 AM and NO TIP EVER. Eventually our manager even got PO'd because morning drivers knew if they showed up first they got the shite no-tip run so we always came in a couple minutes late hoping it would be the other guy that got stuck with it - so we started skimming their cheese just to frick em. frickin a-holes.

Right - their CEO doesn't hate gays - he just doesn't think they should have equal rights. Got it.

Yes he does. That's why Chick-Fil-A does not discriminate against gays. That's why he doesn't oppress. He simply has certain religious ideas. Are you the thought police?

So I have to buy a bigot's product or I'm the thought police? OK, sure, whatever.

"We intend to stay the course," he said. "We know that it might not be popular with everyone, but thank the Lord, we live in a country where we can share our values and operate on biblical principles."

The horror.

I'm sure you folks can pitch all the fits you want but the company will probably be bolstered by your moral outrage.

I will never understand how one can be accused of hating gay folks if he or she opposes their right to marriage. Does that mean I hate children?

Holy shite, you're fricking stupid.

You should be locked up for not eating Chick-Fil-A. Anyone that deprives themselves of such deliciousness, is severely mentally unstable, and is not fit for society.

IDGAF if they take a "MrFreakinMiyagi should be castrated and tortured to death" stance. Their sammiches, nuggets, waffle fries, lemonade, and cookies n cream shakes will always find their way into my tummy.

Right, but it's purely a PR campaign. If you disagree with something, it's now "hate." I know people against gay marriage, but don't care if gay folks have civil ceremonies and get the benefits of marriage. I'm not against gay marriage but can certainly see the distinction.
