It's an editorial that uses cherry-picked facts in an attempt to bolster the writer's opinion
If it's actually an editorial, using selected facts to advance the writers opinion then I consider this Fake News.
Now, this is why I quit watching NBC back during Bush's first term. Every morning we use to turn on The Today Show while we got ready for work. However, the change in the tone and tenor of their "news" coverage got so sour that we quit them completely.
I remember when TV news stations would offer editorials, but there was a clear distinction between the news broadcast and the editorial portion. These two should not be merged. Boundaries must be clearly established and adhered to. Main reason that the public doesn't trust the media.
I'll site the poll that came out this week:

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey finds that nearly half (48%) of all Likely U.S. Voters believe most reporters are biased against the president-elect.

quote:The very first sentence is presented as a declarative statement, implicitly longing for us to accept this as a factual prerequisite. It has no basis in fact, whatsoever.
The last 24 hours perfectly summed up President Trump's first month in office.
For those on the Far Left that have trouble with this kind of thing: Whose definition of 'perfect' is being used? "The last 24 hours" from when? "First month" - did I miss something - has February 20 already occurred? "Summed" up - is there a standard equation and measurement agreed upon for such matters?
In fact (pun intended), there is no way such an opening declaration could be documented or substantiated as fact or the basis of fact.
The preamblulatory sentence is very clearly an opinion.
Similarly, and in a preposterous manner, following this foundational sentence of speculative opinion is a torrent of bullet points and nary one disclaimer that this article is presenting anything other than a reporting of facts - which is obvious subterfuge and false according the construction of first sentence.
Very dishonest and very fake.

Uhm, that is sort of the thrust of the article.
