Please connect how Manafort and his subpoena being rescinded has anything to do with Awan. I am at a complete loss as to how these two are connected.

I don't think they are connected.
This supposed "inside source" wrote about 2 separate topics - the Awan arrest, and the Manafort pardon.
That's my understanding, anyway.

I think the premise is that Awan's arrest will result in revelations about the e-mail hack that point away from Russia, thus nullifying the whole Trump/Russia conspiracy narrative, and negating the need for Manafort's testimony. I guess under this storyline it might have been the Pakistanis who hacked/leaked the emails???
Regardless, likely nothing to it, but I've got to admit, it would be absolutely incredible if true....
