The Affordable Care Act will also reduce the number of fulltime workers by more than 2 million in coming years, congressional budget analysts said in the most detailed analysis of the law’s impact on jobs.

The CBO said the law’s impact on jobs would be mostly felt starting after 2016. The agency previously estimated that the economy would have 800,000 fewer jobs as a result of the law.

The impact is likely to be most felt, the CBO said, among low-wage workers. The agency said that most of the effect would come from Americans deciding not to seek work as a result of the ACA’s impact on the economy. Some workers may forgo employment, while others may reduce hours, for a equivalent of at least 2 million fulltime workers dropping out of the labor force.

Would those go into the jobs created category, or the jobs saved category?

How was anyone supposed to know this would happen? The intentions were honorable, so it can't be Obama's fault. Those damned Republicans hate low-wage workers.

Based on what I've heard here, I'm sure the CBO hates Obama because he's black. Stick to the narrative, people.

I like how the impact on jobs, the real news, is buried in the article

But the Keystone pipeline will only create 200 permanent jobs.

I think it's a dick move to attack somebody's faith like this on the PT. Orthodox Fundamentalist Liberals are entitled to believe in their Fairy Tales too. This kind of racist anti-Unicorn bigotry should not be allowed on this board.

For fuel for the pyre that is Obamacare. The Dems own this steaming pile of poo and hopefully voters respond logically at the polls in the upcoming elections.

The irony is that the Obama Administration played a shell game with the CBO to get the supposed cost of the ACA under $1T to get the CBOs seal of approval for the legislation.

This is and will continue to be the biggest lie every perpetrated on the American public.

However, when lies go unpunished they will only grow in number and impact.

and let me be clear: i'm sure fox news does it (but in opposite circumstances, like saying non-partisan attached to this story), but i don't watch fox news, so i have no idea what their D2D operations are like
