In other news, not telling a person you poisoned their food is being lowered from a felony to a misdemeanor.

Fear? Yep, and rightfully so, since in that bygone era, AIDS wasca death sentence.

Ignorance? Not by any stretch of the imagination. The fear was based on knowledge.
