This victim BS has gotten out of hand. I for one don't owe anyone anything, Yellow, Red, White, black, Brown or otherwise.

quote:

SACRAMENTO, California — California state lawmakers introduced a slate of reparations bills on Wednesday, including a proposal to restore property taken by “race-based” cases of eminent domain and a potentially unconstitutional measure to provide state funding for “specific groups.”

The package marks a first-in-the-nation effort to give restitution to Black Americans who have been harmed by centuries of racist policies and practices. California’s legislative push is the culmination of years of research and debate, including 111-pages of recommendations issued last year by a task force.

Other states like Colorado, New York, and Massachusetts have commissioned reparations studies or task forces, but California is the first to attempt to turn those ideas into law.

The 14 measures introduced by the Legislative Black Caucus touch on education, civil rights and criminal justice, including reviving a years-old effort to restrict solitary confinement that failed to make it out of the statehouse as recently as last year.

Not included is any type of financial compensation to descendants of Black slaves, a polarizing proposal that has received a cool response from many state Democrats, including Gov. Gavin Newsom.

They started the conversation.

They did the studies.

They’re now bringing legislation.

Eventually they’ll pass legislation.

Eventually they’ll redistribute property.

It’s Black and white should be lowercase. Get with the times.

Just like when Biden said during the VP debate in 2008 that he and Obama would never support gay marriage.

Newsom will do so when the time is right, like he never said otherwise. And the media will never discuss it.

Of course. I've long said "reparations" was never going to come as direct payments to black people. It's going to come as government funding to projects spearheaded by politically connected people. Shifting a frickton of public dollars into a few private hands and declaring it progress.

You will notice only black is lowercase. That is by design. That is now my time.

Must be nice to have politicians and governments try to bribe you on a regular basis. Bribe you to the point of screaming "racism" whenever a politician doesn't offer a bribe.

Must be nice.

White middle aged voter here..who works 50hrs a week. They don't try to bribe me with anything. Sometimes a conservative a-hole will come along and promise to let me keep a little more of my own money..

That would go over well for a Presidential candidate Newsom in those critical midwestern swing states.

As long as they collect the money from their own state residents.
Not my monkey, not my circus.

Weak arse victim mindset..... Blacks are too stupid to see how they are held down by the left.
Not much difference from the dim witted Palestinians in Gaza.
