I'm sure most women would say those men aren't worth marrying either
The difference is this:
Men believe that they cannot change women.
Women believe that they can always change men.
Therefor, a man would be skittish of marrying a women who has lots of sex with many different partners because he knows that he cannot change her. He doesn't think that she will be loyal to him because she's never been loyal to a single man her whole adult life. He'd be more surprised if she never cheated on him than if she did.
Women are less skittish simply because they believe that they can take an immature, man-whore and change him into a loving, caring husband and a great father. Then they're shocked, SHOCKED when 5 years later they catch him diddling his secretary while his wife is still trying to work off the baby weight.
It is socially acceptable for a woman to try to "train" a man, but it is considered abusive for a man to try and do the same for a woman.
