pull out of a global pact to cut emissions
This was a bullshite treaty masquerading as an agreement anyway. It was another Obama admin overreaching edict forced on us without a vote. This was never voted on by Congress, therefore it is invalid and probably unconstitutional.

To not at least be somewhat concerned with the environment is childish but it is also fair to say that the climate change movement has overstated itself. The truth generally falls somewhere in the middle. I certainly don't want Chinese level pollution where I live.
Truth, but none of our restrictions would matter much without China on board, and so it was stupid to strap ourselves down with regulations that mattered for nothing...

I'm sure the people of Flint would welcome concentrating on air and water quality

Relevance? Does the EPA not regulate all water sources?
Posted on 1/30/17 at 11:01 am to Bjorn Cyborg
Well the EPA and state ran DEQs (which base 98% of their regulations off of the EPA) regulate and assist nearly all water sources in the country, as well as prevent/cleanup any accidents of hazardous material that may contaminate fresh water sources.
To say the EPA needs to be axed is really ignorant.

#protestfatigue
It's a divide and conquer strategy at it's finest. Thin the protest numbers out. You can't be at more than one at a time.

I say we should make a strong commitment to the past actions we did to cause the Little Ice Age.
Unfortunately climate scientists have no clue! So much for consensus which is actually an anti scientific principle. Science urges that every consensus be challenged by real experiments and not computer models!

Actually we are probably saving the environment. The USA rejected the Kyoto Protocol and we were the first nation to meet its carbon emission reductions and we did so without trying.
So if you want to say f**k you to the environment staying in this huge international pacs that aren't worth the paper is the way to go, but if you want to reduce carbon emissions getting out of them is the way to go.

At this point - it is so laughable that when the actual, observed, verifiable data conflicts with their models, they massage the dataset to make it fit the model, not the other way around.
And they wonder why we're skeptical. Skepticism is the ROOT of science.
