Look, I get the threat, but the idea that anyone with any sort of weapons program would hap hazardly launch a guided anti-ship missile without a target just screams shitty military.
If he had steamed an old cruiser out to sea, used a Fire Control radar to acquire the target, and then successfully launched and destroyed said target, then I'd give them some credit.
Hell, even if they knew the location of the cruiser and blown it to bits, I'd give them some credit.
At this point they are basically pushing a button, and saying, "Look at me!!!"
I doubt the acronym IOC exists in NK.

You should be more worried about the guy with these types of weapons and no sense than the calculated man with them.

Russia has launched precision strikes on Syria, using cruise missiles.
I guarantee, we took notice.
Pushing a button and letting them fly without any sort of target is not a threat.
Sure, it's stupidity, and of course maybe they can get lucky. However, I've seen 2 failed ICBM launches, one that was considered a success without much data, and an anti-ship launch into the ocean. That doesn't move the meter as far as legitimate data points go.
Sure, he's bat shite crazy, and could frick up the region, with a volley of weapons, but he's crazy not stupid.
He knows a couple lucky hits equal complete destruction for his regime.
All hat, no cattle.

I'm not saying I wouldn't have a problem with some of the Asian powers getting together and fricking him up, hell let's help.
But I'm not down for another US lead "coalition".
I think he'd be an easy takedown for the Asian powers.

If SK were smart, they'd set up a 50KW Transmitter that broadcasts on the NK state run frequencies 20 miles from the border and blast K-Pop videos and video of South Koreans eating Kimchi, Bulgogi, and Galbisal.
