It used to be that terror attacks were a big deal. It seems that liberals see "terror attack" and their first instinct is to sweep it under the rug as quickly as possible so that Muslims don't think we are trying to offend them.

The Masses can be conditioned to accept as normal events like these Rogue Truck Attacks. Look at the violent inner city of Chicago. Do you see any massive public outrage by the citizens who have to suffer living within that environment? No. Why? Because they have been conditioned by media and political leaders to accept this as a normal part of daily life.
Look for this kind of conditioning to be expanded in an attempt to convince the Masses in Sweden, France, Britain, and yes, even the USA, that this is a normal part of everyday life -- that we are going to have people killed by crazy people, just like 40,000 people per year die in traffic accidents. You don't see any public outrage to ban motorcar travel because it's so deadly, right? So, the deaths from Terrorists will be much less than 40K a year and consequently, not to difficult for the Masses to accept as part of life.
It's coming to a neighborhood near you, unless we can take political power away from the Democrats and keep it from them.
