Breakdown of Contradictory Eye-Witness Accounts of Ferguson Shooting

I have not kept up on the Ferguson story as much as many have, so I found this relatively brief piece in The Atlantic to be helpful as it lays out some key passages of the eye-witness accounts.
For what it's worth, I really wonder if the officer couldn't have done better with the situation, especially after he got out of the car but whether he acted perfectly or heroically is not the standard. I can easily see how the GJ chose not to indict. Just too much contradictory evidence and the most damning account is the least credible.
