I'm a fan of this solely because of the theatrics

It was a good idea at the time. I mean, no one could have expected her to run such a shitty campaign.

I think it was too soon. I remember talking to a British friend of mine, who lives here, and he told me there was a lot of misinformation about the Brexit vote and that many people voted leave simply to do it because they didn't think it would happen, or thought there would still be a parliamentary vote, which wouldn't go for it. Not sure how they thought that, but that's what he told me. Apparently they have a large populous that is comparable to the average American voter. Once they realized what they'd done many people wanted a redo so to speak.

He also told me a lot of the local debates centered on healthcare, which he said the Brits all say is crap. They were told something along the lines of a leave vote would help them fix their healthcare system in some manner, he told me but I've honestly forgotten this part of the discussion.

Even barring this conversation I still think it was too soon simply because she hasn't had time to really do anything at all to prove herself.

I'd say no one could have expected the terrorist attacks that affected the campaign either, but come on. "It's part of life in a big international city"
