No. Seriously, WTF did he do to earn that land besides being born?

Does it really matter how he got the land, as long as it was legal?

You guys are too easy. I'm the guy who doesn't even think women should be allowed to vote. Do you really think I'm on the government's side here?

Maybe houses in St. George will get confiscated because the title is recorded in Baton Rouge?

Get that shite out of here. It has nothing to do with this discussion.

Is this story for real? How can they justify this. Meant for the rational, non St George idiots that feel the need to insert their bull shite into every thread.

I have no dog in that fight, but you don't exactly seem like an unbiased observer.

his 90,000 acre ranch

Does any one person really need that much land all to themselves.

Henderson doesn't have 90,000 acres. That's what happens when a story gets passed from one blog to another to another to another.

I have no dog in the fight either. But most of this guys/girls posts revolve around St George. It's absurd, and has absolutely nothing to do with this story.

I couldn't care less about St George, but I own a gun, a house, and I have a job and I pay taxes and I don't like what our government has become. My feelings have nothing to do with St George.

Im pretty much assuming you hit the sarcasm button. Believe it or not 90,000 acre ranch is just a mid size ranch up here in Montana and if the man has a lot of cattle , he certainly needs that many acres.

So, according to the Constitution (for whatever that's worth these days) the state legislatures must approve the federal acquisition of the property (not even considering that it's private property to begin with). But since the semantics of the land surrounding a river - due to the river changing course over time - the feds see an opportunity to land grab without having to deal with the states. shite, every river or stream in the U.S. is open game then.

The more I read about the BLM the more it seems that entire agency's existence is blatantly unconstitutional.

I agree. And, IMO, our elected officials don't give a rats arse about the constitution.

I expect them to go back to the Nevada before this is all said and done. This case however I cant see them winning, especially when the state backs the rancher. If they do shite will blow up.

I 100% expect them to go back to Nevada. Mr Bundy's troubles aren't over.

But Texas is a totally different ball game. If he owns the land, and the state backs him, how is this legal? I realize that legal doesn't mean much to our current administration, but still....

I'm trying to find more info on this right now. I just don't see how this will fly.
